This compilation of the current young Japanese harsh noise/Power electronics system.



Please read the following statement.



The motivation for this compilation started from a simple question: now that we are in our 30s,what is the situation of people in our generation who are a little older than us?

I found that the number of people in their 30s who express themselves experimentally is larger than that of people in their 20s, and that there are quite a few talented people in this age group. At least as far as I could hear from the sound sources.



And when we narrowed it down to those who were close to our own expression, or those who were close to what we call "harsh noise," the number became more limited, and even more limited if we had actually seen them live. We are mainly active in live performances, and we have a biased but common sense of value that people who are great at both sound and live performances are the most amazing.

We talked about it and came up with a list of "deep" candidates who were close to our age. We came to strongly believe that we would like to make a compilation album with this group of people from all over the country. I also felt strongly that we should make a physical release with these members, which we could not do last time.



The result is this compilation album. The mastering was done by Yuki Ohtsuka of Push it!

Frankly speaking, I think it is no exaggeration to say that they are the strongest members of the current young Harsh Noise lineage.

It may be a bit presumptuous for us to be included in this group, but we hope you can feel our growth as well.



In conclusion, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your patience and understanding during the process of creating this compilation.

We have had a lot of trouble in the process of making this compilation, but we are able to successfully release it thanks to the kindness of the participating artists. Thank you very much.

I would also like to express my gratitude and respect to Mr. Ohtsuka of Push it! Studio.

以下声明文を掲載させて頂きます。

今回のコンピレーション作成の動機は20代から30代になった今、30才以下という縛りをつけて"若い契り"をつくってから今度は実際に自分達と年齢が少し上くらいの世代の人はどんな状況なんだろうかという素朴な疑問から始まりました。
すると30代くらいの世代になると20代よりexperimentalな表現をする人の母数が多くなり、実力者もかなりいるなということがわかりました。少なくとも音源で聴く限りは。

そして、experimentalの中でも自分達の表現に近い人、いわゆるHarsh noiseに近い表現の人に絞るとより限られ、実際に現場でライブを観たことがあるとなるとなお限られてきました。自分達は主にライブ中心で活動していて、やはり、音源もライブもすごい人が一番すごいという偏ってるけど当たり前な価値観があり、二人で話しあって自分達と歳が近いすごい人を挙げてゆくと
凄まじく"濃い"候補者名が名を連ねました。そして、この全国東西から集まったメンツで是非コンピレーションアルバムを作りたいと強く思うようになりました。そして前回出来なかったフィジカルでのリリースを是非このメンバーでという思いを強く持ちました。

そして、出来上がったのがこのコンピレーションアルバムです。マスタリングはMerzbow等のマスタリング実績があるPush it! Studio Yuki Ohtsuka氏にお願い致しました。
率直に言って現行若手ハーシュノイズ系統の最強メンバーと言っても過言ではないと思います。
このメンツに自分達が名を連ねるのは正直おこがましいかもしれないですが、自分達の成長も感じでいただけたら幸いです。

結びになりますがこの場を借りてコンピレーションを
作成する過程で様々ご迷惑をおかけしたりして前途多難でございましたが、無事リリースに至りましたのも、心優しき参加アーティスト様のおかげです。本当にありがとうございました。
そしてマスタリングにて無理難題を迅速に対応してくださったPush it! StudioのOhtsuka様に
感謝と敬意を表します。
